In order to tell the story of La Colombina it is necessary to go back in time, until 1800, when the winery of the Doria family, of Genoese origin, was born. In this particular period, the Oltrepò was part of the Kingdom of Piedmont and it was here, in the area of Montalto Pavese, that the Doria built their fortune. Extending over 73 hectares of land, its historical value is defined, not only by years of experience, but also the historic Cascina Colombina that belongs to the territory and the Le Fontanelle estate in Calvignano.
The company not only offers excellent products from a food and wine point of view, but has rare experience when it comes to its rich gastronomic and enological offering. For the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, the holiday farm was recognized as one of the 150 most long-lived companies in Italy and registered in the register of Italian Historical Companies.
